Jisoo debuts her first Korean drama series, Snowdrop. Her co-star, Jung Hae-in, is an equally talented actor.
The girl band, Black Pink, is ecstatic over the fact that Jisoo, lead singer, will making her way into Korean drama as she stars in a South Korean broadcasting company, JTBC’s new drama Snowdrop. The drama is directed by Jo Hyun-tak and Yoo Hyun-mi, makers of a sensational TV series called SKY Castle which has an 8.7/10 rating on IMBD. Though, the singer is well acquainted with her acting skills and even impressed some of her fans with her roles in a few TV series. K-Pop will also now have the most exciting collaboration between Jisoo, who is 25, and Jung Hae-in, who is 32, by the way, delivers equally stellar acting performances. Jisoo has really made the girl band proud.
The movie has an interesting set dating back to the 1980s in Seol, South Korea. It narrates a love story between Eun Young – cho and will air in 2021.

Speaking of Black Pink’s achievements, the latest “The Album” now had record-breaking sales according to a Times of India news report yesterday. Their album became the best-selling album on the very first day of release, selling over 590k copies. The album also had over 100M pre-orders. That’s quite a record! Their Lovesick Girls, the first song in the album, crossed a 100 million bench in 7 days on Youtube. Black Pink is also the first K-Pop band to have 1 billion marks on Youtube.
