UIDAI has removed the requirement of biometric details for children below 5 years of age. Now any parent can get their child’s Aadhar card made by adopting this simple process.

UIDAI has named the children’s Aadhar card as ‘Bal Aadhar Card’ and it is blue in colour.

Know how to make Aadhar card for children

According to the rules of UIDAI, the most important condition for getting the Aadhar card of the children is that the Aadhar card of the child’s guardian i.e. one of the parents must be made.


To make Aadhar card of children, the Aadhar card of one of the parents has to be linked with the Aadhar of the child. Because children below 5 years of age, biometric details are not valid.

To get the Aadhar card of the child, one of the parents of the child will have to visit the nearest Aadhar card center.

Keep in mind that parents must carry their Aadhar card with them.

By going to the Aadhar card center, the parent will have to fill the registration form of ‘Bal Aadhar Card’ to make the child’s Aadhar.

The parent will also have to submit a copy of the child’s birth certificate along with the registration form.

Along with this, the parent will also have to submit a copy of any one of his driving license, PAN card or passport as an address proof to the Aadhaar center.

As soon as the registration process is completed, the child’s Aadhar card will arrive at the registered address within a few days.
