Board Exam 2024: Big update for class 10th, 12th students, now you will not have to give board exam twice, know the whole thing

Board Exam 2024: The Education Ministry had recently announced the conduct of board examinations twice a year. Since then students are confused about whether they will have to appear for the exam both the times. What will happen if you pass the first board exam and do not appear in the second exam?

New Delhi:Board Exam 2024 Latest Update: In August, the Education Ministry had announced to conduct board examinations twice a year under the New Curriculum Framework (NCF). This framework has been done with the aim of making changes in the examination system, not making board exams a bogey, as well as increasing the pass percentage of students.

At the same time, students of all the boards including CBSE Board, UP Board, Rajasthan Board, MP Board are confused about whether even after passing the board examination, they will have to participate in the second board examination conducted by the board. Now on the confusion of students, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that it will not be mandatory for students to appear for class 10th and class 12th board exams twice a year. This option has been done only to reduce the stress of the students.

Dharmendra Pradhan said that students will have the option to appear for the class 10th and class 12th board exams twice a year like the engineering entrance exam JEE. They can choose the best score. But this will be completely optional, there will be no compulsion.

Because students get stressed thinking that their year has been wasted, their opportunity has gone, they could have performed better. Therefore, to reduce the stress caused by the fear of only one chance, students are being given the option of appearing for board exams twice a year.

The Union Education Minister said, “If a student feels that he is completely prepared and is satisfied with the score of the first set of exams, he can choose not to appear in the next exam. Nothing will be mandatory.” ”

New Curriculum Framework

According to the New Curriculum Framework (NCF) announced by the Education Ministry in August, board examinations will be conducted twice a year to ensure that students have adequate time and opportunity to perform well and to maintain the best scores. Got options.

Dummy School Issue

The Union Minister also said that the issue of ‘dummy schools’ cannot be ignored. The time has come to have a serious discussion on this. The number of such students is not much compared to the total number of students. The center is working towards ensuring that students do not need coaching. Students preparing for NEET and JEE take admission in schools of their home town but go to Kota for preparation. They do not go to school full time and appear directly for the board exams. Dharmendra Pradhan said that the issue of ‘dummy schools’ has been raised by many experts who believe that not going to school hinders the personal development of students and they often feel isolated and stressed.
