According to the data released by Board Result 2023, a total of 35 lakh students have not reached the next class i.e. 11th class from 10th class. Of these, 27.5 lakh are failed students. On the other hand, the figure of 7.5 lakh students is of those who did not appear in the exam.

Board Result 2023: This year around 27.5 lakh students have failed in the 10th examination across the country. At the same time, 7.5 lakh candidates have not appeared in the 10th examination. This figure has been released by the Ministry of Education (MOE).

According to the released data, a total of 35 lakh students have not been able to move from class 10 to the next class i.e. class 11. Of these, 27.5 lakh are failed students. At the same time, the figure of 7.5 lakh students is of those who did not appear in the exam. Meghalaya Board has been the weakest performer in the state which did not perform well in Class X. Meghalaya’s senior secondary result has been 57 percent. At the same time, this time a total of 99.85 students have passed in Kerala Senior Secondary. The data revealed that 4.5 lakh students appear for the exam through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). In NIOS also the failure rate varies between 47% to 55%.
