TV actress Abigail Pande and boyfriend Sanam Johar have been summoned by NCB for questioning.
Television actress Abigail Pande and boyfriend choreographer Sanam Johar are being grilled by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The popular couple, who have appeared together on Nach Baliye, have reached NCB office and will be asked questions regarding Bollywood-drug nexus case.
Today morning, Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar’s housewas raided by the NCB. After the raid, the couple was called to the NCB office for questioning.
Names of many Bollywood have come up after NCB started probing the alleged drug racket in the film industry. Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Dia Mirza’s name came up during the probe. Dia Mirza, however, denied taking drugs in a statement she posted on social media.
Sources close to NCB revealed to India Today Television that Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor can be summoned by NCB for questioning.
Abigail Pande, who has been a part of many TV shows, will soon be seen opposite Sanam Johar in Tujhse Hai Raabta spin-off. The series will soon begin streaming on Zee5.
Deepika Padukone’s connection with the drug nexus in Bollywood was recently revealed by the NCB after Deepika’s name was found in a WhatsApp chat during the investigation. The agency has also acquired WhatsApp chats of the actress with an employee of Kwan talent management agency, Karishma Prakash. Karishma Prakash was summoned by the NCB on Tuesday. However, she requested the agency to record her statement after September 25 as she is not keeping well.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai on June 14. His girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by the NCB for allegedly procuring drugs for the late actor. Currently, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is being investigated by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The NCB and the Enforcement Directorate are conducting their separate probes in drug and money-laundering case, respectively.
