India is a huge market for Chinese application companies, where currently Chinese products are being boycotted (boycotting Chinese products). However, experts say that the situation is likely to improve after the stress is over.
Big drop in Tiktok and Halo app downloads
According to a report by SensorTower, downloads of live streaming app Bigo Live, short video app Likey and gaming app PUBG saw a decline in the month of June. While the downloads of Tiktok and Halo app have seen a decline since April.
ByteDance owns 30 crore unique users in India, owned by Tittock and Hello. There are a total of 45 crore smartphone users in India. This directly means that about two-thirds of smartphone consumers in India have these apps.

These apps fall so much
TikTok (38 per cent decline from May to 22 June): 2.35 crore in April, 2.24 crore in May, while 1.39 crore downloads have been received in June (from 1 June to 22 June).
Helo (38 per cent decline from May to 22 June): 1.66 crore in April, 1.49 crore in May while 92 lakh downloads have been received in June (from 1 June to 22 June).
Bigo Live: 25 lakh in April, 26 lakh in May while 18 lakh downloads have been found in June (1 June to 22 June).
Likee: 67 lakhs in April, 70 lakhs in May while 43 lakh downloads have been found in June (1 June to 22 June).
PUBG: 99 lakhs in April, 1.22 crores in May, while 66 lakh downloads have been found in June (1 June to 22 June).
