The wait for the flight from Kushinagar International Airport is over. Domestic flight is starting here from Friday. SpiceJet flight will take off from Delhi at 12 noon and reach Kushinagar International Airport at 1:35 pm. After staying here for 20 minutes, the same flight will fly to Delhi at 1:55 am. At present, this service will be available four days a week.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the airport on October 20. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who arrived at the program, had announced to start domestic flight service from Kushinagar from November 26 at the same time. After this, SpiceJet had also released the flight schedule in the evening. After completing the formalities, online booking of the flight also started. The registration of travel has also started at the airport counter. Passengers on both sides will be welcomed as per Indian tradition by applying sandalwood, tika and giving roses. During this, the cake will also be cut, then water cannon salute will be given on behalf of the authority.
SpiceJet’s station manager Kapil Khare said that the arrangements for all the equipment required for the flight have been completed. The terminal building will be decorated overnight. The departing passengers have been asked to reach the airport one and a half hour before so that their and baggage can be scanned. There is a strict security system everywhere.
