Britain’s King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer. Buckingham Palace gave this information on Monday. Issuing a statement, Buckingham Palace said that it is postponing all its public events. Last month, 75-year-old King Charles was hospitalized for about three days. He was treated for an enlarged prostate. During this time, doctors came to know about the problem like cancer. The Palace has said that Charles is very positive about his treatment.

On Monday, the palace confirmed he had cancer, although not prostate cancer. The Palace said the King would stay away from public events for a few days, although he would continue to serve as head of state. After discovering the disease, King Charles called and informed his sons Prince of Wales William and Duke of Sussex Harry about it. Apart from this, he also informed his three siblings about their health.

The monarch has decided to tell everyone about his illness, Buckingham Palace said in a statement. Hopefully the public will also understand this.
