New Delhi, Auto Desk. TVS Motor Company has increased the prices of Apache RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V in India. The BS6 versions of RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V were launched in November last year. The price of the RTR 160 range has been increased by Rs 2,000. At the same time, the price of RTR 200 has been increased by Rs 2,500. One of the reasons for the price increase may be to compensate for the losses suffered by the Kovid-19 on various automotive manufacturers.
The new and updated Apache motorcycle with BS6 engine gets new design position lamps with new LED headlights, feather touch start and cool race graphics. The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V features a 5-speed gearbox with a new fuel-injected 197.75 cc single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine. Talking about power output, it has a similar engine which generates 20.2 bhp power at 8,500 rpm and torque of 16.8 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The torque of the older model is 18.1 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V drum brake has now been priced at Rs 102,950 as against Rs 100,950 previously. The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is priced at Rs 106,000, while the older variant was priced at Rs 104,000. At the same time, the TVS RTR 200 4V dual channel is priced at Rs 127,500, while the old variant was priced at Rs 125,000. All these prices are ex-showroom.
The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V features a 159.7 cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, 5-speed gearbox with oil-cooled engine. The new BS6 RTR 160 4V engine generates 15.8 bhp power at 8,250 rpm and torque of 14.12 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The engine with the fuel injection system with the BS4 model torque 16.6 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 14.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm.Â
