Vacancy Details
BSF Head Constable will be recruited for a total of 247 posts. Out of this, 217 posts are for Head Constable (Radio Operator) and 30 posts are for Head Constable (Radio Mechanic).
This is the prescribed age limit,
The minimum age of the candidates for these posts has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 25 years. However, the upper age limit is relaxed for the reserved category candidates.
Candidates
Who have passed 12th from a recognized board with PCM subjects with first division can only apply for these posts. Apart from this, 10th pass candidates from a recognized board are also eligible to apply, along with they should have a two-year ITI pass certificate.
Application fee:
Candidates of General, EWS and OBC categories applying for Head Constable posts will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee. Along with this, a service charge of Rs 47 will also be applicable. Whereas, no fee will be charged for SC, ST category, female candidates and BSF personnel and ex-servicemen.
Salary
Candidates selected for these posts will be given a salary ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 per month.
