Updates keep coming from different cities from time to time regarding the launch of BSNL 4G service. The company is testing 4G service phase wise in different cities and soon users can get BSNL 4G service, after which customers will be able to use internet at high speed.

Recently news came that the company is testing 4G network in some cities of Rajasthan and has also started testing it in many cities of Uttar Pradesh. During a meeting held in Jodhpur regarding 4G service, Business Area General Manager NR Bishnoi said that BSNL 4G service will soon be started in Jodhpur.

SIM upgrade work started

The official said that all the equipment used to start BSNL 4G service is indigenous. According to the official, the work of upgrading the users’ SIM to 4G has also started. After SIM upgrade, users will be able to avail the facility of high speed internet in their handset.

Let us tell you that BSNL has targeted to roll out 4G service across India by the end of 2024 and the company will also work in 5G network in the beginning of 2025. The company is working rapidly in this direction. To establish 4G service, the company has given orders worth about Rs 19,000 crore to TCS and ITI.
