Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new Rs 1,498 prepaid recharge plan that offers daily 2GB high-speed data access with a validity of up to 365 days. However, voice calling support and SMM benefits are not included in this plan. In addition to the prepaid recharge plan of Rs 1,498, BSNL has also introduced a promotional offer for its customers, in which customers get an additional validity of up to 90 days for recharging it with a voucher of Rs 2,399. In the BSNL prepaid recharge plan of Rs 2,399, customers get a validity of up to 365 days.
New BSNL Rs 1,498The prepaid recharge plan is available in the form of Data Voucher STV. This means that this plan has been specially designed keeping in mind the data needs of the customers. In this plan, customers get 2 GB high-speed daily data access, that too for a full 365 days. Internet speed drops to 40kbps after the daily 2GB data quota is exhausted.
BSNL had earlier launched a prepaid recharge plan of Rs 1,498 in Chennai circle a few days back , which was first reported by KeralaTelecom.Info . However, this plan was introduced on a pan-basis and is now available in most of the BSNL circles, including Assam, Gujarat, UP East and UP West, Kolkata, Telangana and Karnataka etc.
Users can get the Rs 1,498 prepaid recharge plan directly through the BSNL web portal or can also be activated by sending an SMS message “STVDATA1498” to 123.
BSNL also introduced a recharge plan of Rs 1,498 last year, which comes with a total of 91GB of high-speed data. The validity of this plan was also up to 365 days. However, later this plan was quietly discontinued in many circles and now it has been replaced with the new Rs 1,498 plan.
In addition to the Rs 1,498 prepaid recharge plan, BSNL has offered an additional validity of up to 90 days with the Rs 2,399 recharge plan. With the increased validity, you will now get a validity of up to 455 days instead of 365 days in this plan. This promotional offer is valid till November 18, which was informed by OnlyTech.
Talking about BSNL’s Rs 2,399 plan, it includes benefits like unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day and 3 GB data daily. It also includes personalized ring back tone (PRBT) and ErosNow service.
