BSNL New Plan: BSNL launched two new prepaid plan, check plan benefits

Government telecom company BSNL has made changes in its prepaid mobile plans in all circles. The company has changed the base tariff of 14 of its prepaid plans across the country.



The changes that have been made include voice calls, video calls, SMS charges, data charges and inter circle roaming charges for voice, SMS and data services. This information has been disclosed by the tech website keralatalecom.

Changes in these plans

According to the report, the plan vouchers that have been changed are – Rs 153, Rs 199, Rs 397, Rs 399, Rs 485, Rs 666, Rs 699, Rs 997, Rs 999, Rs 1499, Rs 1999 , Rs 2399 plan and Rs 249 FRC (First Recharge Coupon) is included. Out of these 14 plans, plan voucher 997, which is currently in per minute tariff, has been converted into per second tariff, while all other plans will be in base per minute tariff.

Know what changed The
changes made by the company are applicable only on the base tariff. This means that the charge that will be charged after the limit of calls / SMS / data received from the prepaid plan has changed. In addition, BSNL has also changed the minimum recharge condition for outgoing SMS facility, which is applicable for all existing and new prepaid mobile customers across India. Before the Rs 99 plan is being discontinued , recently BSNL has also decided to discontinue one of its cheaper plans. This is a postpaid plan of Rs 99 from BSNL. The company is shifting postpaid users with Rs 99 plan to Rs 199 plan. About which the users have been informed through SMS. Also, it is alerting that the change will be effective from 1 September 2021.
