Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Wednesday launched a prepaid recharge plan of Rs 797 with a validity of 365 days. This new prepaid recharge pack from BSNL includes benefits like unlimited voice calls, 2GB daily high-speed data and 100 free SMS per day. As an introductory offer, the 797 BSNL prepaid recharge plan also offers an extra 30 days validity, taking the total validity to 395 days. BSNL’s new plan is available all over India.
The BSNL prepaid recharge plan of Rs 797 offers the benefit of unlimited local, STD and roaming calls for 60 days. Apart from this, you will also get the benefit of 2GB high-speed daily data and 100 free SMS daily for 60 days. This means that even though the validity of the plan is 365 days, you will get the benefits available in it only for the first 60 days. The speed drops to 80kbps after the daily high-speed data quota is exhausted.

BSNL Karnataka Division announced through a tweet that the extra 30 days validity is valid till 12 June.
BSNL has separately confirmed to Gadgets 360 that this prepaid recharge plan of Rs 797 is available in all circles where the company provides the service.
Users can recharge with the new plan using the BSNL online portal. It is also available with a discount of 4 percent through the BSNL Selfcare app. Apart from this, the recharge plan is also available through other third-party sources including Google Pay and Paytm.
By launching a prepaid plan of Rs 797, BSNL is giving its customers the option to remain active on the network for 395 days. This is essentially useful for those who have BSNL SIM as a secondary network.
