Government Telecom Company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) introduced a new prepaid recharge plan of Rs 109 with a validity of 90 days in December 2019. This plan was launched under the name of Mithram Plus. In this plan, customers were given the facility of 5 GB data and 250 minutes of voice calling daily. But now the company is giving double data to the users till 31 March under a special offer. That is, with this plan of BSNL Rs 109, you will get 10GB data. But note that this is a limited period offer valid till 31 March 2021. In fact, BSNL is about to discontinue the Mithram Plus plan from 1 April.

As per TelecomTalk report, BSNL is withdrawing the Rs 109 recharge plan from April 1. Information about why the company is withdrawing this plan is not available yet. But there are speculations that the company is doing this to increase the sales of its 106 and 107 rupees plans. BSNL is offering 3GB free data, 100 minutes free voice call, free BSNL tunes for 60 days with Rs 106 plan. The validity of this plan is 100 days.
