Finance Minister Sitharaman said in her budget speech that the government will give the first month’s salary to the people getting employment in the organized sector. Both the employee and the employer will be given help. Apart from this, the government will also contribute to EPFO ​​in the first 4 years of employment. Under this, the government will give a help of Rs 3000 every month to the employer. Apart from this, the government said on Tuesday that it will start three employment related schemes.

Presenting the Union Budget for 2024-25 in the Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the government will encourage 30 lakh youth entering the job market by contributing one month’s PF. She announced that hostels for working women will be set up in the country to promote women’s participation in the workforce. The Finance Minister said that the government will provide funds to the private sector, sector experts and others to develop climate-friendly seeds.

The already existing scheme – MNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee) aims to provide 100 days of employment in a financial year to at least one member of every family.
