CBSE has already announced that for the academic session 2021-22, CBSE 10th, 12th Board Exams will be conducted in two Term I and II. The first term of CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 will be held in November-December while Term II will be held in March-April.

Marking schemes

In the guidelines issued by CBSE, it has been said that 50% syllabus will be covered in each term. Notably, CBSE has already cut the syllabus by 30 per cent for both class 10 and 12. Term I examination of CBSE 10th, 12th Board Examination 2022 will consist of case-based and assertion-reasoning type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The time duration for the exam will be 90 minutes.

For internal assessment, CBSE 10th students will have to appear for three periodic tests apart from student enrichment portfolio, practical assignments, speaking and listening activities. On the other hand for CBSE 12th students, students will have to appear for unit tests, exploratory activities, practicals and projects at the end of every subject.

With the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) expected to release the admit card for the 10-12 board exams soon, a section of the candidates is still adamant about their demands and the board is expected to conduct the upcoming term 1 paper online.
