The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start the examination of major papers from next week. CBSE Term 1 board exam for class 10 is scheduled to be held from 30 November to 11 December and for class 12 students, the major papers will be conducted from 1 December to 22 December.
CBSE has already started the exam for short paper. The board is conducting the CBSE Term 1 exam in offline center-based mode at several exam centers across the country. As the CBSE Term 1 exam is being conducted amid the COVID pandemic, the board has implemented SOPs for the safety of the students.
CBSE Term 1 Exam Guidelines, Following Items Can Be Carry
- Candidates have to carry CBSE Admit Card. The admit card for CBSE 2021 Term 1 exam is available at cbse.gov.in.
- Candidates need to carry blue or black ballpoint pen for filling the responses on CBSE OMR sheet. Use of pencil will be treated as use of unfair means.
- CBSE is conducting Term 1 board exam through OMR sheet and students have to fill OMR sheet correctly to submit their response.

- If a candidate darkens the wrong circle in the CBSE Term 1 OMR sheet, they can fill in the correct answer in the box provided next to the four circles.
- The banned items in the examination center include mobile phones, electronic devices, headphones and other electronic gadgets.
- Candidates will have to carry their own masks and hand sanitisers to the examination hall.
- Candidates must follow all the instructions and SOPs at the CBSE exam center.
- CBSE Hall Ticket is mandatory for admission to the examination centres. Students can check Term 1 Roll Number at cbse.gov.in. To access CBSE Term 1 Admit Card, students need to use their User ID and Password.
- Students have to report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time to check their allotted seats. Students have to write the correct option A, B, C or D in the box. CBSE will consider the answers filled in the box as the final answer. The CBSE OMR sheet will have space for 60 questions to be answered and students will have to fill in all the answers in the correct serial number.
