CBSE Board exam 2021-22: CBSE again clarified with school teachers regarding question pattern of various subjects through video conferencing.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board’s Class 10 and 12 Term 1 board exams are scheduled to be held in offline mode in November, the board has also clarified about the question pattern of the upcoming exams. Whereas students are demanding to take the exam in online mode.
Earlier the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has already released the datesheet for Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 Term 1 Exam. Term 1 exam will start from 30th November, while 12th exam will start from 1st December. CBSE has also announced that 10th, 12th Board Exam 2022 will be conducted in offline mode.
In an earlier circular issued by the board, the board had announced that more than 50 percent of the questions in the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2022 Term 1 exam will be on Aptitude-Based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The sample papers released by CBSE provide the exam pattern. According to the board, many teachers and students are still not clear about the nature of MCQs asked in it.
Thus, CBSE again clarified with the school teachers regarding the question pattern of various subjects through video conferencing. In the meeting, it was clarified that for Science subject, aptitude-based MCQs are different from complex case-based MCQs and can be a diagram, table or labeling based MCQs.
This competency-based learning is also applicable to the Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects of Class 12 Term 1 board. For Mathematics, the board has used the same parameters to set the questions. For the English paper, the board clarified that the MCQs will not be asked on the basis of the standard format of letters, stories, articles, etc. The questions will require students to use their reading, comprehension, analytical and decision-making skills Whereas Assertion/ Reason based MCQs may be asked in Literature and Reading section.
Earlier many students openly criticized CBSE’s decision to conduct CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 in offline mode on Twitter. The students demanded that CBSE should cancel 10, 12 board exams 2022 Term 1 exam due to corona pandemic, while other students say that CBSE should conduct online exams.
CBSE in its notice has said that students appearing in 10th, 12th Board Examination 2022 Term 1 examination and residing in other city will be allowed to change city for examination centres. It may be recalled that many students have gone to their homes after schools were closed as a result of the Corona pandemic. On which the board has taken a big decision.
