CBSE Board Exam 2022 Answer Key OMR Evaluation Discrepancy Notice News CBSE Class 10th & 12th Board Exam 2021-22 for Term 1 is going to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. CBSE 10th 12th Board Exam 2022 is going to be conducted in Multiple Choice Questions i.e. MCQ format.
In which students are required to fill optionally marked response i.e. OMR sheet. After the CBSE Board Examination 2021-22 is over, the OMR sheet is evaluated on the basis of the answer key shared by the board on the same date. Some discrepancies have been found in the CBSE Answer Key 2021-22 provided by the CBSE Board in the last few examinations, following which CBSE has issued a special notice on the same.
In a notice shared by the board, CBSE has asked the assessors to stick to the answer keys shared by the board while evaluating the OMR sheets filled by the students. As for the inadvertent errors in the answer key, the board has stated that once the result is compiled by the board, they will be duly noted and corrected accordingly.
The notice reads, ‘Though all possible precautions are taken by the Board, still there may be chances of some ambiguity in the questions or discrepancy in the answer key. However, the Board has a well-organized system in place to address such issues. Hence, it is informed that the evaluators can check/evaluate the OMR as per the answer key provided to them.
For errors, CBSE has asked the schools to share any observation regarding the question papers with the board. The notice said that the recommendations of subject experts will be duly considered while preparing the results on the comments or feedback received so that no student is harmed.

CBSE Term 1 2022 Board Exam & Result
CBSE Term 1 2022 board exams for class 10 and 12 are being conducted in MCQ pattern across the country. The students are given 90 minutes to solve the questions and mark the answers on the OMR sheet. This is followed by an assessment by the teachers of the schools where the examination centers have been set up.
Teachers will have to send the assessed OMR sheets to CBSE on the same day and upload the correct responses of the students on the online portal. Please note that marks will be awarded on the basis of internal calculation by the Board at the end of the examination.
As per the Term 1 board exam circular, CBSE result will be released soon after the end of the term exam. The board will only share the marks obtained by the students and will not grade their performance at this point of time. The final result for the board examination, including pass or fail, will be prepared only after the term 2 examination is held in April/May.
