New Delhi: CBSE- Many examinations have been postponed and some examinations have to be canceled due to Corona in the country, but the CBSE Board and the Ministry of Education are in favor of conducting the 10th and 12th class board examinations on time.
If the examinations could not be taken due to any reason, then the results of class 10th and 12th would be announced on the basis of the first phase of examinations. However, the chances of the exam getting canceled are slim.
At present, experts believe that after the corona subsides, CBSE board examinations of class 10th and 12th will be conducted for lakhs of students across the country. CBSE has already taken the board exams of Term 1 of class 10th and 12th. The board’s second phase examination is to be conducted in March-April this year. The duration of Phase II exam will be of 2 hours and all the questions asked in it will be of subjective type.
Sample question paper released
CBSE Academic Director Dr. Joseph Emmanuelli has released the sample question papers for Term 2 examination of class X and XII. Giving information to the principals of all the schools related to CBSE, Emmanuelli said that the sample question papers related to the second phase examination have been uploaded on the website.
Not only this, the marking scheme for the examinations has also been released by the CBI on the official website.
This will be the result formula
CBSE’s controller of examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj has already said that if a situation arises that due to Kovid the second phase examinations are not held, then only the marks obtained in the first phase board examinations will be considered final and based on these. But the result will be prepared. However, if such a situation does not arise and the second stage examinations are also successfully conducted by CBSE, then the final result will be decided on the basis of 50 -50 percent marks of these two examinations.
Both the Union Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health are also paying special attention to the vaccination of students in the age group of 15 to 18 years so that these students appearing in the examination can gain immunity in the fight against Corona.
What are the academics saying about the preparations
Pankaj Rathore, Head Master of Seth Jaipuria School, said about the preparations for the exam and the current situation of Corona, that the epidemic has made children used to the hybrid mode of learning. School IT preparation will help us move beyond the traditional notions of assessment. Schools must keep up with the situation and ensure that students are well prepared for preboard and board.
