CBSE Board Exam 2023: Psychological counseling of 10th and 12th students will be started by CBSE from Monday, January 9, 2023. Students of 10th and 12th will get a chance to talk with the counselor. This psychological counseling of CBSE will be completely free. CBSE has issued toll free numbers for counseling of students. CBSE students and their parents going to appear for 10th and 12th board exams will be able to call on 1800-11-8004 whenever they want. CBSE has formed a team of 84 psychologists for counseling students.
Counseling Facilities in 2023:
IVRS: Free IVRS facility is available 24×7 for students and parents on Board’s toll free number 1800118004. Through this, tips and information can be heard in Hindi and English on stress-free exam preparation, time and stress management, frequently asked questions (FAQs), prevention from COVID, important contact details of CBSE offices, etc., from anywhere in the country. .
Podcasts: Bilingual podcasts on the same subjects can also be listened to on the CBSE official website cbse.gov.in.
Tele-counseling: Tele-counseling is a voluntary and free of cost service, which is being provided by the Board from Monday to Saturday from 09:30 AM to 05:30 PM. This year 84 Principals and counselors from India and other countries who have contributed to the counseling service are providing this facility. In which 73 counselors are included from India and 11 counselors from Oman, Nepal, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar and Singapore.
The Board has been continuously providing free psychological counseling in two phases, pre-examination and post-examination, since 1998, with the main objective of keeping the students of classes X and XI of CBSE affiliated schools stress-free during the examination.
According to CBSE, for the first time after the Covid epidemic, the 10th and 12th examinations will be conducted in regular physical mode. Students will sit in the examination hall and give the paper after an interval of about two. For the ease of the students and the changed exam pattern, the board has already made the information about model paper, exam pattern, marks distribution etc. available on its website by CBSE. However, the counseling facility used to start in February earlier for providing psychological support to the students and solving the problems. But this time it is going to start in January itself.
Counselor will talk in Hindi and English
Psychological counselors will talk to the students in Hindi and English. In the counselling, students will be given information about stress free preparation of examinations, time management, frequently asked questions, prevention from Covid, contact details of CBSE offices etc.

Students and their parents will also be able to listen to the ongoing conversation with the counselors on the CBSE website at cbse.gov.in. Here the podcast will be broadcast in Hindi and English language.
