CBSE Exam 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a list of handles that have been found using the name and/or logo of CBSE on Twitter (formerly Twitter) for the purpose of misleading the general public. There are many accounts that appear to be CBSE, however, students should remember that there is only one official account of CBSE on ‘X’ with the handle ‘@cbseindia29’.

CBSE has listed around 30 Twitter handles which are copying the board’s handle and spreading misinformation.
“It is hereby informed that appropriate action is being initiated against these social media handles. The public is cautioned and advised to only follow the official X handle of CBSE, which is @cbseindia29, for verified and concrete information related to CBSE, the board said in an official notice.

Meanwhile, CBSE has released the admit cards for class 10 and 12 board exams, which are scheduled to begin on February 15. Also, this year, CBSE has decided not to give any overall division, distinction or aggregate to the students.
CBSE’s alert about fake social media handles underlines the importance of vigilance on online platforms, especially in view of the upcoming board exams for Class 10 and 12 starting from February 1. As misinformation continues to spread, it is important for students, parents and the general public to rely only on verified sources for official updates.
