CBSE Board can suddenly inspect schools regarding the attendance of students. During this, if any records are found to be wrong, then action can be taken against the concerned institutions. Let us tell you that the board examinations are to start in February, for which the date sheet can also be released soon. It will be released on the official website of the board.
CBSE Board has issued a notification regarding the attendance of students. It is clearly stated in this that 75% attendance of students is mandatory in a year. A notification has also been issued by the board in this regard. It is strictly stated in this that the board provides 25% relaxation only in case of medical emergency, participation in national games and other reasons. For this also, students will have to submit documents related to these.

CBSE Board further said in its detailed notification that, “Schools are not only centers of academic education but also play an important role in the overall development of students. Along with imparting subject knowledge, schools also teach many things including extracurricular activities, character building, inculcation of values, teamwork etc. Therefore, regular attendance of students in school is very important for their overall development.

CBSE board can visit
The board also said in the information issued that, visits can be made to verify the attendance records of the students. During the inspection, if it is found that the records are incomplete or it is clear that the students are not attending regularly, then strict action can be taken against the school. Along with this, students can also be deprived of board examinations. So take full care of this. The board has also said that, once the school sends the details of the short attendance of the students, then no change will be allowed in it.
Let us tell you that apart from this, the board has recently announced the date of practical examinations for winter bound schools. These exams will be started from 5th November. For the academic session 2024-25, practical examination/project/internal assessment of 10th, 12th will be held in November. However, for other schools in the country and abroad, this date is January 1, 2025. Its details have also been made available on the notification portal, which the concerned educational institutions can see on the official website. After this, on the basis of these guidelines, you can conduct practical exams at your place. Let us tell you that this time CBSE 10th, 12th examination will be held in February.
