CBSE has started preparations for the class 10th and class 12th board examinations to be held in the year 2025. Guidelines have been issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) regarding board examinations. This time the students will be monitored in the board examinations through high level CCTV cameras. Along with this, CBSE has said that examination centers will be set up in those schools only in which CCTV cameras will be installed. Till now CCTV cameras were not mandatory.

Decision taken due to paper leak

The mandatory requirement of CCTV has been taken regarding the problem of paper leak in the last few examinations so that cheating-free examinations can be conducted successfully.

Every student will be monitored

CBSE has said that CCTVs should be such that every student present in the room can be monitored. If needed, any one student can be monitored by zooming. All students and staff at the center will be informed about the presence of these cameras in advance. Notices will also have to be pasted at the examination centers.
