CBSE Board Exam Notice 2025: CBSE Board has issued strict guidelines for class 10th-12th examination 2025. If any student adopts unfair means (Unfair Means – UFM) in the examination, then strict action will be taken against them, you can also be barred from giving the board exam. If you are going to appear in CBSE exam, then definitely know the unethical methods (UFM) and their punishment.
1. First category and its punishment
This category includes the student having cheating material and not using it, writing in places other than the answer sheet, tearing the page of the answer sheet or trying to talk to someone during the examination etc. If this is done, the student’s exam of that subject will be cancelled. That student will be given the opportunity to appear in the compartment exam.
2. Second category and its punishment
This category includes putting a wrong photo on the admit card, erasing the information written on the answer sheet, giving wrong information, using cheating material, helping another student or taking help from any student or talking to the supervisor etc. For this, the student’s exam of all subjects will be cancelled. The student can appear for the exam next year.
3. Third category and its punishment
Under this category, if a student takes the answer sheet or question paper out of the exam center, uses an electronic device, commits violence in the exam center or threatens the staff on duty, then in that case the student’s exam will be cancelled. The student will not be able to appear for the next year’s exam as well.
4. Fourth category and its punishment
This category includes sending someone else to appear in the exam in your place, sharing exam related material on exam media or trying to take advantage by giving wrong information. For this, the student’s exam for this year will be cancelled and the exams for the next three years will also be cancelled.
5. Fifth category and its punishment
Under this category, if a student writes obscene or threatening words on the answer sheet, uses the wrong ink. Apart from this, if a student keeps money in the answer sheet, then his exam will not be cancelled. The student will be given counselling by the board and will be explained not to make such a mistake in future.
