CBSE Exam Update: Great news for the students, CBSE has decided to make a big change in the examination system of class 10th. From 2026, the board exam will be held twice a year, which will give students another chance. If a student is unable to take the first exam for any reason or wants to score better, then he can sit for the second exam. The purpose of this change is to reduce the stress related to the examination of the students and give them more opportunities to show their potential. Now students will not have to depend on just one exam, which will reduce their pressure and improve their performance.
Soon its proposal will be released, in which people will be asked for their opinion. This change will help in making the education system much easier and better.
Suggestions will be sought from the public on the change
CBSE will soon release an official draft regarding this change and will seek suggestions from the public. The board wants this new system to be more convenient for the students and promote their thinking ability, rather than just memorizing by rote.
Will reduce the stress related to the exam
Recently, a meeting of CBSE officials, NCERT, KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) and NVS (Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti) representatives was held under the chairmanship of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The new changes were reviewed in this meeting. The minister said that this step will reduce the pressure of studies for the students and give them a chance to evaluate in a better way, making the examination system more balanced.
CBSE will start international level curriculum
CBSE has also decided to start a global curriculum for its 260 foreign schools from 2026-27. This curriculum will connect the students with the international education system and prepare them to compete at the global level. Apart from this, special training of teachers will be done to implement the new exam pattern properly.
New guidelines issued for schools
CBSE has issued strict guidelines related to the examination for schools. Now all schools will have to compulsorily upload their feedback on the OECMS portal on the day of examination. If the feedback is given late, CBSE will not accept it.
Students advised to be cautious of misinformation
CBSE has cautioned students and parents not to trust rumors related to paper leak or examination. The board has said that trust only official information and avoid false news spreading on social media.
More transparency in examination system
CBSE has taken several steps to make the examination process transparent and reliable. This year more than 42 lakh students are appearing in CBSE board examinations at 7,842 centers in India and abroad.
This change of CBSE will make the examination system easier and more beneficial for the students. This will give them more chance to show their ability and perform better.
