The Central Board of Secondary School Education (CBSE) has taken a big decision regarding the tenth and twelfth class examinations of Term-2.
It has been decided by the board to conduct these examinations through offline mode. Guidelines have been issued by the CBSE Board to all the concerned schools in this episode.
Ashok Kumar, the co-ordinator of DAV School, said that the term-2 examinations are going to start from April 26. He told that this time the board examinations will not be conducted at self centers. Let us inform that earlier the board examinations of Term-1 were conducted at self centers only.
Ashok Kumar said that the CBSE board officials were in favor of conducting the board exams on time, but due to the third wave of Corona, the period of restrictions started and schools and colleges had to be closed. At present, the situation is getting normal due to Corona and schools have been opened with full capacity. Keeping this situation in mind, it has been decided to conduct the examinations through offline mode. He said that even during the examination of Term-2, the compliance of Kovid guidelines will be strictly implemented.
Term-2 exams will be of 2 hours
The time limit of 2 hours has been fixed for the Term-2 exam starting from 26th April. Reducing the syllabus has been told behind giving less time to the examination. The questions asked in these exams will be of subjective type. The question papers will be prepared on the basis of the pattern of sample papers issued by the CBSE Board.
CBSE, District Co-ordinator, Kurukshetra Geetika Jasuja said that CBSE Board 10th and 12th class Term-2 examinations are starting from April 26 through offline mode. He said that this time the examination will not be conducted at self centres, but students will have to go to other centers to take the examination.
