CBSE Board Exam Update: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start the 10th and 12th board examinations from 15 February 2025. This year, 44 lakh students will appear in the board examinations, including both the classes. Guidelines have been issued by the board for the exam and schools and students have been instructed to follow them strictly.
CBSE Board Exam Update: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued guidelines for schools and students for class 10th and 12th board examinations. CBSE has warned the students in schools to strictly follow all the rules laid down for the fair conduct of the examinations. If any school or student is found violating the rules, then he will have to face serious consequences along with a ban of 2 years. According to the information given in the notification, this time 44 lakh students are going to participate in the CBSE board exam. CBSE will conduct examinations for a total of 204 subjects. Guidelines have been issued by the board to conduct the examinations being held on such a large scale in a proper manner.
According to the notification, “You will agree that the conduct of fair examinations is essential in the academic interest of the students. Accordingly, a detailed “Unfair Means Rules” has been framed by the CBSE. It is desirable that before the commencement of the examinations, all the students who will appear in the board examinations should be informed about the ethics of examinations, their rules and the instructions issued by the CBSE. The official notice to the principals of CBSE-affiliated schools states, “Sensitize your students and create general awareness to prohibit the use of unfair practices in the examination hall/centre.” Along with this, the guidelines will also be provided in the admit cards of the students.
Some important rules for schools and students
- Schools should provide complete information to the students about the rules made for the examination and what penalties will be given in case of violation.
- The officials appointed for the examination should be made aware of the rules for the successful conduct of the examination.
- Students are advised not to believe or spread any kind of rumors which may hamper the successful conduct of the examinations.
- Provide information about guidelines and punishments etc. to the students as well as their parents.
- Do not use any kind of illegal item at the center on the day of the exam.
- CBSE has urged all stakeholders to strictly follow these guidelines to ensure the purity of the board examinations.
