CBSE Board Exams 2025: CBSE is starting counseling facility for class 10th and 12th students going to appear for board exams. This facility is free. In this, the counselor will also tell the students and parents ways to remain stress free.
CBSE Board Exams 2025: The 10th and 12th board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start from February 15. The board will start psycho-social counseling from February 1 to help the students going to appear for the exam to handle problems like mental stress. CBSE conducts psycho-social counseling twice for students and their parents – during the examination and after the result is released. This counseling includes IVR, podcast and telecounseling.
IVRS
In CBSE’s IVRS service, students and parents will get 24×7 free counseling facility on toll free number 1800-11-8004. In this, one can get stress-free preparation for exams and time management tips, answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ), important contact numbers and suggestions of CBSE offices. This facility is available in Hindi and English language.
Podcast
Students can listen to podcasts discussing stress management and mental health by visiting CBSE’s website cbse.gov.in. This is also available in Hindi and English language.
Tele-counselling
Tele-counselling is also a free service. It will be available from Monday to Saturday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. In this, 66 trained counsellors, principals, psychologists and special teachers of government and private schools affiliated to CBSE will tell the students ways to remain stress-free. The board has informed that out of 66 counsellors, 51 are from India. While 15 counsellors are from Nepal, Japan, Qatar, Oman and UAE.
