CBSE Board Update: According to the guidelines issued by CBSE, students will have to attend 75% of the school to appear in the board exams.


CBSE Board Exam Guidelines: The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued guidelines regarding the 10th and 12th class board examinations to be held in the year 2024. According to the guidelines issued by CBSE, now students will not be allowed to change the subject in class 12th. The subjects which he will study in class 11th, he will have to study the same subjects in class 12th also. Apart from this, the board has also ordered the schools to fill all the details of the students carefully. Let’s know apart from this what important things the board has said in the guideline.

According to the board, in 2024, the 10th and 12th board exams are to start from the second week of February. Whose information has already been given to the schools. First there will be examination of those subjects in which the number of students will be less. The examination of the main subject will start from February 20, which will continue till the first week of April. If a student wants to take additional and extra subjects, then he has to take them at the time of registration in class 9th and 11th.

Important information

The Central Board of Secondary Education has said in the guideline that by January 1, 2024, 75 percent attendance of students in the school is necessary. The board has said that after receiving the list of students from the regional office, it will be decided whether students with low attendance should be allowed to take the exam or not. However, the final decision will be of the board only. CBSE has asked schools, students and parents to check whether the information being filled in the LOC is correct or not. The board has given time till 18 September 2023 to the schools to fill the form.
