There is big news for CBSE students. CBSE took several important decisions while changing the pattern of the exam. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued important guidelines regarding the preparation of the annual examinations of class 10 and 12.

The board has clarified that along with checking the arrangements of the examination centers, this time the students will be monitored through high-level CCTV cameras. With this step, an attempt is being made to ensure transparency and fairness in the examinations.

Mandatory requirement of CCTV cameras

CBSE has decided that only those schools will be made examination centers which have CCTV cameras installed. Earlier, CCTV cameras were not required, but now special attention will also be paid to their quality. The recording done by CCTV during the examination will be kept safe for two months after the declaration of the examination results. Apart from this, it will be mandatory to appoint an inspector for each examination hall, so that there is no rigging in the examination.

Mandatory requirement of 75 percent attendance

75 percent attendance has been made mandatory for class 10 and 12 students to appear in the examination. If a student does not meet this criterion, he will not be allowed to sit in the examination. This step has been taken to ensure regular studies of the students and proper performance in the examination.

Instructions for keeping attendance records

All affiliated schools have been instructed to regularly maintain the attendance record of the students and keep updating it properly. Signatures of class teachers and school officials will be mandatory on this register. This register should be available on the spot during inspection of the school, so that its authenticity can be checked.

The new guidelines issued by CBSE are extremely important for students and parents. Parents are advised to pay attention to the regularity of attendance of their children and ensure that they fulfil all the necessary criteria to appear in the examination.
