CBSE Marksheet: Central Board of Secondary Education will no longer give details like division, distinction and percentage on the marksheet. Now the details that will be there on the student’s mark sheet are given below.
CBSE Marksheet Details: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to stop division, distinction and percentage in class 10th and 12th board examinations. Now the board will show the marks obtained in each subject. This decision can help in reducing competition among students and increasing their confidence. This will also make them aware that their performance in the examination is assessed on the basis of marks and not on the basis of any division or distinction. Let us tell you that CBSE has stopped releasing the merit list.
Controller of Examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Sanyam Bhardwaj has said that now the board will not issue overall division or distinction. He has told that if the student has taken more than five subjects, then it will depend on the institute or the employer as to which five subjects they consider to be the best. According to reports, if percentage calculation is required for higher education or job, then the institute or the company itself can do the calculation. No such information will be given by the board.
