CBSE Notice: Students should keep in mind that Apaar ID is completely different from Aadhar card. Aadhar card is an identity card for Indian citizens. At the same time, APAAR ID card will include everything from education details of students to scholarship and sports details. For more information, applicants can visit the portal. CBSE Notice: CBSE Board has issued an important notice to the affiliated schools regarding APAAR ID. According to this notice, the board has said that educational institutions should organize a parent-teacher meeting to explain the importance of Apaar ID card. In this meeting, along with the students, parents should also be informed about the use and importance of this ID. The notice further states that the school should distribute consent letters to the parents, in which the parents will have to sign these forms. Also, permission has to be given to use Aadhaar details to create Apaar ID.
APAAR ID: Will have to be verified on UDISE+ portal
After getting permission, the school administration will have to verify the details of the students including name, date of birth and Aadhaar number on the UDISE+ portal. After this, schools will generate APAAR ID using the UDISE+ portal, which will be securely linked to the students’ DigiLocker account. Once this process is completed, parents will be notified via SMS. After this, schools will provide Apaar ID to students and parents. At the same time, if any discrepancy is found in this ID card, then the school will direct the parents to the Common Service Center (CSC) to get the correction done.
What is APAAR ID: Know what is Apaar ID card
Under the One Nation One Students Scheme of the Central Government, now every student will have a unique ID, which will be named Apaar ID card. This ID card will contain information about the students’ name, gender, date of birth, address, parents’ name, academic to sports details, character certificate, school transfer certificate, extra-curricular activities. At the same time, if they have participated in any Olympiad, then those details will also be mentioned in it.
