CBSE Class 12 Result 2025: After the board examinations which lasted for about two months, now lakhs of students are waiting for their CBSE class 12 result. This year the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the 12th examination between 15 February to 2 April 2025. Now it is expected that its result will be released in the middle of May.

Students will be able to see the result here

After the result is released, students will be able to see their scorecard by visiting the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in. Apart from this, the result will also be available on DigiLocker, DigiLocker App, SMS, UMANG App and Pariksha Sangam Portal. Marksheets can also be seen on some other websites like cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.nic.in.

When did the result come in previous years

If we look at the trend of previous years, the result came on 13 May in 2023 and on 12 May in 2024. In 2022 it was released in July, but this time again the result is likely to come in May.

How many marks are required to pass

The result will contain the student’s name, roll number, subject wise marks, grades and other information. To pass, students will have to score at least 26 out of 80 in the theory paper and at least 33% marks in each subject including theory and practical.

What is grading

CBSE’s grading system runs from A1 to E. A1 is given to the top 1/8 students, followed by grades like A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2. Students who do not pass are given E grade. Students are advised to keep their roll numbers and login details ready and keep checking the official websites from time to time so that they can check the result as soon as it is released.
