CBSE Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can release the result of High School and Intermediate by 20th May next month. Information related to the official date can be provided soon by CBSE on the official website and X handle. Students should know that CBSE does not release the toppers list along with the results.
CBSE Result 2025: Students who appeared in the 10th and 12th board examinations from CBSE board are waiting for the result to be released which will end next month i.e. in May. According to media reports, CBSE Result 2025 class 10 can be declared by the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) between 10th to 15th May, while CBSE Result 2025 class 12 can be declared between 15th to 20th May next month.
The result will be released by CBSE only through online medium on the official website cbse.gov.in. After this, students will be able to check the results by visiting the board’s site. Along with the website, students will also be able to download the marksheet through DigiLocker app and portal.
The toppers list will not be released this year also
For the information of the students and their parents, let us tell you that the CBSE Board does not release the toppers list for the last few years to end the competition among the students. This year also the toppers list will not be released by the board. However, the number of students and the data of the students passing from different divisions will be shared by the board.
This is how you can download the marksheet
- As soon as the CBSE Board 10th 12th Result 2025 is released, the students will first have to go to the official website cbse.gov.in.
- On the home page of the website, you will see the link of the result, click on it.
- Now you have to enter the roll number and password on the new page and submit it.
- After this your marksheet will open on the screen from where you will be able to check the results as well as download it.
These details will be recorded in the marksheet
After downloading the marksheet, the students will be able to enter their name, parents’ name, date of birth, names of subjects, subject code, total marks obtained in each subject, total marks and result status along with other details. If the students see any problem in these details, they can go to their school and get the solution to this problem.
33% marks required to pass
To pass the CBSE board exam, it will be mandatory for the students to get at least 33 percent marks separately in all the subjects. However, students who fail in one or two subjects will be able to pass the exam this year by appearing in the compartment exam.
