CBSE Term 1 Exam: This year, the CBSE Board’s term exam for class 10th and 12th will be multiple choice question based. Objective type questions will be asked in this. These MCQ questions can be based on case-based reasoning.
CBSE Term 1 Exam: This time the CBSE board is taking board exams in the form of term exams. For this, the sample of OMR seat has been sent to all the schools for class 10th, 12th term-1 examination. Let us tell you that for the first time the examination will be taken by the board in class X, XII through OMR sheet. From this sample, students will now be made to practice in schools.
In the circular sent to the school principals, it has been said that 60 questions have been given on the OMR sheet, but the students will have to answer only as many questions as are asked. Experts believe that a total of 55 questions will be asked in Chemistry, Physics and Biology, out of which only 45 questions will have to be answered. There will be 50 questions in subjects like Mathematics and English and students will have to answer 50 only.
Let us tell you that in the year 2020, the Central Government had approved the implementation of the New Education Policy 2020. In this, it was said to conduct the board examination in two terms on the lines of semester system. Under this, the CBSE Board has decided to conduct the examinations this time in two parts – term 1 and 2. In this 50% syllabus is being covered in each session.
How questions will be asked
This year the CBSE board’s term exam for class 10th and 12th will be multiple choice question based. Objective type questions will be asked in this. These MCQ questions can be based on case-based reasoning. If the situation regarding Corona remains normal, then this year the examinations of both the term will be offline only.
The pattern of CBSE Board Term-2 exam will be different from Term 1. In this open ended questions will be asked. Both long and short questions will be asked in this exam. Apart from this, the duration of the exam will be of 2 hours. According to the exam experts, the term to exam will be a kind of main exam for the students, in which they will have to appear with more preparation. While Term 1 exam will be of 90 minutes only, Term 2 exam will be of two hours. In this sequence, a sample of OMR answer sheets have been sent to schools by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for practice.
It is to be noted that CBSE has already released the datesheet for Class 10th, 12th Board Exams 2022 Term 1. Class 12 and class 10 exams will start from November 16 and 17 respectively. As per the guidelines issued by CBSE, students will be allowed to use only blue or black ballpoint pen to fill the OMR sheet.
