CBSE Term Exams: Students prepare, term exam will be done with open book system

The Central Council for Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to implement the open book system in term exams and assessment of schools. Now students will give the first and second term exams of the school in this way. The board has given this information to the schools. Till now the term exam used to be through written examination.

In the Corona era, the board made this change and implemented it in school exams from class 5th to 12th. NCERT has released the first six-week and now three-month academic calendar, bringing online exam system. Under this, students studying online at home will also give term exams online. Therefore schools have been instructed to conduct online exams through open book system. this is

The reason behind this is that it will not be possible to monitor all the students in the online examination. But to understand whether students are studying online or not, an open book system has been brought. Objective questions will be asked in this exam, in which a question will have to be answered in less than one minute.

In the open book system, students will be allowed to open and write books during the examination. The questions in this system are research based and different. Deep and self-studying students are able to answer them correctly. CBSE implemented the open book system from 9th to 12th in 2013. However, he was withdrawn after the protest.
