Dearness Allowance (DA) of central employees is going to increase once again. If all goes well, the government can announce this increase during the festive season.
It is possible to increase the dearness allowance of central employees by 3 percent for the second half of the year i.e. from July to December. After this, the DA of the employees will be 31 percent of the basic salary. However, let us know how much amount the employees will get as DA after this increase.
How much amount will be received : If the basic salary of an employee is 18 thousand rupees, then he is getting 5040 rupees as dearness allowance. This amount is 28% of the basic salary. At the same time, if the DA is increased by 3 percent, then the employee will get Rs 5580 as DA. This means that the salary of the employees will increase by Rs 540. As the basic pay increases, the total amount of dearness allowance will also increase. That is to say, you can calculate it on the basis of your basic salary.
