New Delhi: There is a very good news for the central employees. They can be paid DA Arrears for 18 months. If this happens, they will get Rs 11,880 in three installments. Actually, at the end of this month, the arrears of 18 months are to be discussed.

Cabinet secretary gave meeting time

The cabinet secretary has fixed the meeting on this issue. In this meeting, the representatives of the Employees and Pensioners Union will request the secretary to pay the dues. However, it is not yet final whether the government will agree to its payment or not. Because, once before the government has denied it.

So much money owed

Central employees have not received the arrears of three installments between January 2020 and June 2021. This balance is 11 per cent. After the opening of the lockdown due to Corona, the government lifted the ban on freeze DA. After which the increased dearness allowance was paid after July 2021. But, no money has been received for the period of 18 months.

Employees will get so much money

If the outstanding DA arrears are paid to the central employees, then a huge amount will come in their account. In a conversation with Zee Business Hindi, as an estimate, National Council of JCM (Staff Side) Shiv Gopal Mishra told that the payment of employees will be different at different pay levels.

Will get so many thousand rupees

The DA arrears of employees at Level-3 can range between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. Whereas, for Level-13 (Basic pay scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900) or Level-14, the employee’s arrears can range between Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200. However, there can also be a negotiated settlement with the government. Then this figure may change.
