According to the departments also different allowances are given to the employees. Recently, there has been a huge increase in the Conveyance Allowance of government doctors.
Car-driven doctors will benefit the most in the allowance. Because they will get conveyance allowance of Rs 7,150 at most.
Increase in conveyance allowance
The government has also increased the conveyance allowance of doctors walking in two wheelers and public transport. In fact, the rate of conveyance allowance was under consideration for a Central Health Service (CHS) doctor working in hospitals/pharmacy/stores in CGHS units under the central government. Now it has been extended.
Let us tell you that every time Dearness Allowance is increased by 50 percent, the amount of conveyance allowance will increase by 25 percent.
So you will not get the conveyance allowance
There are also some conditions for taking conveyance allowance. For example, a specialist/general duty medical officer has to pay at least 20 visits to the hospital in a month or 20 visits outside his normal duty hours. At the same time, where the minimum limit for going to the hospital is less than 20 but not less than 6. There should be a reduction in conveyance allowance. This minimum will be Rs 375, Rs 175 and Rs 130 per month. Less than 6 will not get the allowance.
A certificate will also have to be given along with the bill.
While claiming the conveyance allowance, the specialist/medical officer has to produce the certificate along with the monthly salary bill. This certificate will be of fulfilling all the conditions. At the same time, while doing duty, during leave and temporary transfer, the conveyance allowance will not be available.
At the same time, the specialist / medical officers who are taking conveyance allowance at the lowest rate and do not own a vehicle will also have to give a certificate along with the bill.
Similarly, Specialist/Medical Officer drawing conveyance allowance shall not be entitled to daily allowance or mileage allowance for traveling on official duty within a radius of 8 km or more within the municipal limits of the city.
