Walmart-owned Flipkart on Tuesday announced the launch of its hyper local service ‘Flipkart Quick’. Under this service, now its customers will get delivery in only 90 minutes. Under this facility, customers will have more than 2,000 products in their categories within 90 minutes at their doorstep, apart from groceries, dairy, meat products, mobiles, electronics goods, stationery items and home accessories. The company is taking this step in a fast-growing Indian retail market in a competition with Amazon and Mukesh Ambani’s company Geomart.

Currently this facility is available only at select locations

Flipkart Vice President Sandeep Karva said, “With Flipkart Quick – with our hyper local capability, we have the ability to bring together the entire network of neighborhood grocery stores on the platform with just one click.” Capacity is a great model for India. Then by the end of the year it will expand to six in the country. Will be extended to big cities.

Customers can place orders at any time of the day and receive their orders anytime between 6 am and midnight. However, consumers will have to pay Rs 29 for this. In the first phase, it will start from Bengaluru. In the next few months, this service will be expanded to other cities.
