New Delhi. From today, 5 such big changes have been implemented, which can have a direct effect on your pocket. Let us tell you that with the new month there are some financial changes also. This may include changes in the price of LPG gas cylinders, interest rates on bank savings and FD accounts.
Five similar changes are going to happen from June 1 as well. This includes gold hallmarking, SBI home loan, Axis Bank Savings Account rules, motor insurance premium and LPG cylinder price. We will give detailed information on all these points one by one.
SBI Home Loan
If you have taken a home loan from SBI, then from June 1, your pocket is going to be burdened with additional interest rate. At the same time, if you are going to take a new loan from the bank, then keep in mind that the interest rates have changed and accordingly choose your bank to take the home. SBI has increased the external benchmark lending rate by 40 basis points or 0.40 percent. Now it has become 7.05 percent.
Motor Insurance Premium
Motor insurance premium is going to be expensive now. The Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways has issued a notification saying that the insurance premium for cars with 1000 cc engine capacity will now be Rs 2,094, which was Rs 2,072 before the Kovid-19 epidemic. Apart from this, the insurance premium for cars with engines from 1,000 cc to 1500 cc has been increased from Rs 3221 to Rs 3416.
Phase II of Gold Hallmarking
The second phase of gold hallmarking will start from June 1. Now hallmarking centers will be opened in 32 new districts. Earlier there were hallmarking centers in 256 districts. Now only hallmarked gold of 20 to 24 carat will be sold in a total of 288 districts.
Axis Bank Savings Account
Axis Bank has increased the charge on the service of savings accounts. This will also be applicable from June 1. This also includes service fees charged for maintaining savings accounts. Along with this, additional check book will also be charged.
LPG cylinder price
The prices of gas cylinders are fixed on the first of every month. New prices of domestic gas cylinders have been implemented in the domestic market from today. The price of domestic LPG cylinder was increased twice last month.
