The process of offline registration for the Char Dham Yatra in Haridwar, the pilgrimage site of Uttarakhand, has started at Rishikul ground from 7 am on Monday.
Chardham Yatra: The Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand is going to start on 30 April on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. The doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will open on Akshaya Tritiya. The doors of Kedarnath will open on 2 May and Badrinath on 4 May. The facility of online registration for the Char Dham Yatra was already available. Offline registration has also started from today. Registration arrangements at a total of 20 counters
On this occasion, tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees who have come from all the states of the country. Since morning, pilgrims were seen standing in long queues waiting for their registration. This time special arrangements have been made at the Chardham Yatra registration center established in Rishikul ground. 20 counters have been set up to facilitate the registration process. Out of these, 18 counters are reserved for general male and female devotees, while a separate counter has been opened especially for Divyang, senior citizens and foreign tourists. Pilgrims of all categories are expected to get convenience from this arrangement.
Special arrangements for devotees
Tourism officer Sushil Nautiyal said that extensive arrangements have been made at Rishikul ground for the convenience of the devotees. He said, “A registration center with 20 counters has been set up, with three counters specially designated for Divyang persons, senior citizens and foreign tourists. Our aim is to provide smooth and safe travel experience to all pilgrims. Additional staff has also been deployed to speed up the registration process.” In view of the huge crowd of devotees, the administration has made strong arrangements for security and order. Water, shade and seating arrangements have been made at the registration center so that the pilgrims do not face any inconvenience. Apart from this, medical facilities and police force have also been deployed so that any emergency can be dealt with.

Let us tell you that every year lakhs of devotees perform Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand. Chardham Yatra includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham. This year too, a lot of enthusiasm is being seen about the Yatra. The administration claims that this time the facility of registration has been made available through both online and offline means to make the journey more organized. Along with this, special attention has also been given to security, accommodation and other facilities on the travel routes.
