Cheapest air tickets in India: Air India has launched the Freedom Sale. Under this, you can travel by air with a minimum fare of Rs 1947 till 30 September 2024. Booking of Freedom Sale will be done till 5 August.
Air India Express Freedom Sale: This time the country will celebrate its 77th Independence Day on 15 August. On this occasion, Air India has started the Freedom Sale. Under the sale, Air India is offering air travel with a minimum fare of Rs 1947. That is, the starting fare of Air India Express will be Rs 1947. This offer will be till 30 September 2024.
This offer of Air India is for both domestic and international destinations. It also includes popular routes like Delhi-Jaipur, Bengaluru-Goa and Delhi-Gwalior. Air India Express is offering this offer for 15 international and 32 domestic destinations.
Option of zero check-in baggage fee also
During this time passengers can also book Express Lite fare. For this, the passenger will have to book the ticket through the airline’s website. Under this, you can avail zero check-in baggage fee. Express Lite fare includes the option to pre-book additional 3 kg cabin baggage without any fee and a concessional fee of Rs 1000 for check-in baggage for 15 kg on domestic flights and Rs 1300 for 20 kg on international flights.
Additional discount to loyalty members
At the same time, Air India’s loyalty members will get additional discounts. Loyalty members can earn up to 8% NewCoins on ticket bookings made through the Air India website. Apart from this, you can also enjoy Biz and Prime seats, hot meals, cold drinks and sweets on add-on packs. Students, senior citizens, doctors, nurses and members of the armed forces (and their dependents) can also avail this discount.
