Vande Bharat sleeper train: The wait for the people waiting for the Vande Bharat Sleeper train is going to end soon. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav visited the Rail Coach Factory in Bengaluru on Sunday and inspected the prototype of the Vande Bharat Sleeper coach. During this, he said that it will take one and a half to two months to start its trial. While after three months this train will start running on the track.
He further said that before running the train for the common man, it will go through many more rigorous tests. It is expected that this new sleeper variant will surpass the Rajdhani Express in terms of passenger convenience, speed and safety. He also said that Vande Bharat Sleeper is a middle class ride. Therefore, its fare will also be around Rajdhani Express.

Vande Bharat Sleeper will be equipped with state-of-the-art passenger facilities. In this, along with the safety of the passengers, the facilities of the loco pilot and attendants have been taken care of. The biggest feature of Vande Bharat Sleeper is that it will be equipped with Kavach system.
Apart from this, there will be special berth and toilet facilities for Divyang passengers. The train will have announcement and visual information facilities like the metro. Along with this, there will be features like reading light, inside display panel and security cameras.
Passengers will get luxury facilities
The testing speed of Vande Bharat Sleeper train is 180 kilometers per hour. Whereas it will run at a maximum of 160 kilometers per hour. Due to being a self-propelled train set, this train can increase and decrease its speed faster than Rajdhani Express. This train will have 11 coaches of third AC, 4 coaches of second AC and 1 coach of first AC. This train will have a total of 823 berths. The first AC coach will have hot water shower facility for the passengers.
