After a software solutions provider gifted its five trusted employees Rs 1 crore each along with BMW, another IT firm in Chennai has gifted 100 Maruti cars to 100 of its employees.
The company Ideas2IT said in a statement on Tuesday that the company is gifting 100 cars to 100 employees who have been part of the company for the last 10 years. The company has talented members of 500 employees group.
The company’s President and CEO Murali Vivekanandan said, “We are not gifting the cars, it is the employees who have earned these cars through their hard work.”
He said that the employees have put in a lot of effort to develop the country in the position they are in.
Vivekanandan said, “We had promised the employees a few years back that we would share our money with them and rewarding the cars is the first step.” We will do more such initiatives in the near future.
The employees are also happy with the company gifting them. Talking to IANS, Prashant, an employee, said, “We were earlier given gifts like iPhones and gold coins. The car is indeed a great gift and we sincerely thank our management for the gift they have given us.
Ideas2IT Company said in a statement that it is a high-end product engineering company headquartered in Chennai and has high-end customers. Clients include Facebook, Motorola, Oracle, Bloomberg and Microsoft.
The company also said that it began operations in 2009 as a consulting firm in Silicon Valley with six employees and now has offices in the US, India and Mexico.
