Along with this, employees who lost their lives during the job have also been included. These include employees with physical casualties, missing in action, medical board out cases. These employees have been approved to provide Children Education Allowance and Hostel Subsidy from 1st April 2017.
It has been said in the government order that if these people have not claimed this allowance since July 2017, then do it. In this, Children Education Allowance will be Rs 2250 per child per month. Whereas the amount of Hostel Subsidy will be Rs 6750 per child per month. That is, you can claim for 4 years together. If the amount is calculated, then as CEA and Hostel Subsidy on a child, this amount is made above 4 lakhs.
Fill the Claim Form, Self Declaration Form and Format of Certificate from the Head of Institution and send it to the address R&W Section, DIAV, 104 Maude Lines, Delhi Cantt-110010.
According to the order, the claim in physical casualty case will be processed by CDA Pune. This claim can be taken for two older children up to class 12th. The claim will be made at the end of the academic session. Children Education Allowance is available for two children. Although the second child is a twin, then this allowance will also be available for the education of twin children along with the first child.
Due to the closure of the school, the children are neither getting the report card nor the fee receipt. Fees are also being submitted online. These papers are used in the claim. The Department of Personnel & Training has asked the employees to give Self Declaration. Along with this they have to give print out of report card or email/SMS of fee payment.
The school will have to provide the certificate which has to be attached with the claim document. The certificate should state that the child is a student of that institution and studied there in that year. For CEA claim, the employee will also have to attach a self-attested copy of the child’s report card and fee receipt.
