China Announce Visa To Indian Students: China on Monday announced plans to issue visas to hundreds of Indian students stranded due to Kovid restrictions, after more than two years. Apart from this, a plan to issue visas for various categories including Business Visa for Indians was also announced.
Ji Rong, Counselor in the Department of Asian Affairs at the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, tweeted, “Heartfelt congratulations to the Indian students! Your patience proved worthwhile. I can, in fact, share your enthusiasm and happiness. Welcome to China!’
Apart from old students, visas will also be issued to new students
In this regard, the Chinese Embassy cited the detailed announcement of introducing visas for students, businessmen and families of those working in China. The X1-Visa, according to the announcement, will be issued to students who want to go to China for a longer period of higher academic education. Apart from new students, these include students who want to return to China to continue their studies.
More than 23,000 Indian students went back home due to the Covid Visa Restrictions. Most of them are medical students. China had asked for the names of those who wanted to return immediately for their studies and after that India submitted a list of several hundred students. Let us tell you that some students from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Russia and many other countries have already reached China on chartered flights in recent weeks.
Many students expressed their desire to continue studies
An announcement published on the website of the Chinese Embassy in Delhi states that student visas will be issued to new students as well as old students who could not travel to China due to the Kovid visa restrictions. According to official sources, more than a thousand old Indian students have expressed their desire to continue their studies.
