Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has sent a sum of 1000 rupees to more than 10 lakh migrant laborers on Saturday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sent money to 10 lakh 48 thousand 166 (10,48,166) beneficiaries under Direct Bank Transfer (DBT). A total of 104 crore 82 lakh rupees were transferred online today under this scheme. Labor and Employment Minister Swami Prasad Maurya and Minister of State for Revenue and Flood Control Vijay Kashyap were present during the program.
During this, CM Yogi also interacted with many laborers through video conferencing. The CM assured him that he would also be given the task after completing the quarantine. CM Yogi said that till now 35 lakh workers and workers have been provided work to reach their homes and provide facilities. As soon as the lockdown started, arrangements were made to deliver food to 12 to 15 lakh people every day.
This first phase of DBT,
CM said that in this episode, along with providing ration kits to 35 lakh migrant workers and workers, the work of providing Rs 1000 allowance to them is being done. CM said that in the first phase, 1000 rupees are being transferred directly to the bank for 10,48,166 migrant laborers. The rest of the work is being done to collect bank account details as soon as possible. CM said that we had a big challenge. But the results of teamwork have come out. Most migrant laborers came to Uttar Pradesh but there was no inconvenience anywhere.

Work started on giving employment to workers in the district
CM said that every department did a good job and presented an example. The Supreme Court has also indirectly appreciated the state which was facing the most challenge. We have an obligation to connect all the migrants with livelihood. Their skill mapping has been done, work is being done to connect them with employment at district level. Apart from the job cord, according to the skill, the district administration is arranging their employment.
Work on making commission
CM said that yesterday we have started the Shram Vidya Yojana. Earlier, the Labor Department has extended a comprehensive action plan for the children of laborers in 18 districts. The labor department is preparing this for every hand in the state. For this, the process of constitution of a commission is also going on.
